Matt McGorry

Actor & Activist; Co-founder, Inspire Justice

Matt McGorry is an actor, activist and feminist dedicated to racial justice and gender equity. He is known for portraying “Asher Millstone” in ABC’s How to Get Away With Murder, and “John Bennett” in Netflix series Orange is the New Black. Matt has inked multiple op-eds, keynoted at A Call to Men gala and was listed in Forbes’ “30 under 30.” Matt fights for a world where Black and Brown Lives Matter as much as white Lives and where the lives of women, girls and gender non- conforming people matter as much as the lives of cisgender men. He is a SURJ National Connector, a member of White People 4 Black Lives, and Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Inspire Justice, LLC. As an empowerment coach, Matt is certified in JLove Calderón’s Social Impact Empowerment Coaching model and methodology.
