Author, Educator, and Theorist
Michael Kaufman, Ph.D., is a writer and speaker focused on engaging men and boys to promote quality between men and women, promote involved fatherhood, and end violence against women. Over the past three-and-half decades, he has worked in almost fifty countries, including extensively with the United Nations, numerous governments, NGOs, women’s organizations, universities, and businesses. Dr. Kaufman has spoken to diverse corporate audiences, including Unilever, Microsoft, PepsiCo, Accenture, HP, Deloitte, Triumph International, Deutsche Bank, Barclays, RBC, and Bonobos. He is the co-founder of the White Ribbon Campaign, the largest effort in the world of men working to end violence against women. He is a Senior Fellow with Promundo based in Washington D.C. Dr. Kaufman is the author or editor of eight books, including two novels. His articles have been translated into sixteen languages. Married with two grown children, he lives in Toronto, Canada.
