Jeanette Gamble is an Executive Director in Morgan Stanley’s Technology organization where she was promoted in 2019 to Head of Global Enterprise Computing Services. She provides global Infrastructure support, performance and tuning, and capacity planning for the firm’s Data and Infrastructure Technologies. Jeanette joined Morgan Stanley’s analyst program in 2000 after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology from Salford University. Since joining the firm, Jeanette has held a number of positions across Morgan Stanley’s Technology organization and has worked in each of the firm’s core locations, including London, Hong Kong, Tokyo.  Her roles have spanned Enterprise Computing, Application Development, Quality Assurance and Production Management and Enterprise Crisis Management—where she was instrumental in the creation of Morgan Stanley’s Enterprise Command Center and regarded as one of the firm’s best incident managers.  Jeanette was promoted to Vice President in 2006 and to Executive Director in 2010; she is currently based in New York City. Jeanette exemplifies the lack of bounds for women working in technology. She is regarded as one of the most dynamic women at Morgan Stanley due, in large part, to her ability to easily transition across contexts, including business, engineering, application development and operational roles. This enables her to forge key partnerships across Morgan Stanley and both the technology and financial services industries.   Jeanette has been long-time advocate for diversity, and gives back substantially through mentoring early-career women on their career outlook and progression. Shefocuses much of her time on growing the next generation of talent.  She champions outreach across all campus and STEM programs.  Jeanette is the Chairperson of the Duke Campus recruitment team and was founder of two STEM and diversity-focused high school internship programs at Morgan Stanley.  In addition, Jeanette is an active member of Morgan Stanley’s Women in Technology Executive Committee, and is proud to hold a leadership role in coordinating the “Powered by Morgan Stanley” exhibit to draw increased focus on Women in Technology at the global S.H.E. Summit Conference. She was recently named Chairperson, representing Morgan Stanley, on the global S.H.E. Coalition committee, which aims to create a forum to share information amongst corporations so they may attract, train, and advance women in the field.  Jeanette also spearheaded Morgan Stanley’s partnership with “Girls Who Code” increase the number of girls in technology roles and continues to champion all high school programs.     In her personal time, Jeanette is an avid cook, blogger and food reviewer. She spent time at the International Culinary Institute and has participated in a number of events to advocate for help in the fight against childhood obesity. She enjoys traveling and ensures she hosts gatherings for women in technology  each time she visits a company office. As a new mother to a beautiful daughter, Jeanette’s passion continues to help women lead, feel empowered and break boundaries continues to grow.  Her goal in 2018 is to inspire more females in high school and college to enter the technology field.
