Christine Gaspar joined Volkswagen Group of America (VWGoA) in July of 2016 to led Human Resources for Audi of America and the Luxury Brands (Bentley, Bugatti and Lamborghini). During her tenure, Ms. Gaspar spearheaded a number of firsts for the Audi brand, including the first strategic plan on Inclusion, the first employer brand, and the first certification as a Great Place to Work ®. In the Spring of 2019, she assumed the role of head of HR for VW Credit, Inc. (VCI), the captive finance company for Volkswagen in the US. Prior to joining VWGoA, Ms. Gaspar served as Vice President and HR Business Partner for Global Operations at Marriott International. In this role, Ms. Gaspar and her team were responsible for leading organization effectiveness, talent management and learning strategies that impact the corporate-based organization as well as global property discipline leaders. Prior to her role with Global Operations, Ms. Gaspar worked for The Ritz-Carlton where she led global talent management and was the HR consultant to the Brand leader to support strategic brand initiatives. During her tenure with The Ritz-Carlton, Ms. Gaspar led a multi-year effort to update the company’s employer branding, to include concept design, concept development, and launch. She was also responsible for leading the global succession planning process for all General Manager positions, and oversaw global communications. Ms. Gaspar spent 8 years as a Management Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, a professional services firm, where she led projects and teams in the areas of strategic HR planning, diversity and inclusion, and workforce development. Ms. Gaspar co-founded the firm’s first diversity and inclusion practice and her client work was featured in DiversityInc magazine. Ms. Gaspar’s clients included New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Office of Her Highness for the country of Qatar, the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Ms. Gaspar has a BA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from La Salle University and she resides in the metro D.C. area with her husband.
