I have learned that personal and professional success is determined by our thoughts and what we think about. We become the sum total of our thoughts and feelings. This is why prioritizing self love and mental health are actually leadership skills and why workplaces must be intentional of their wellbeing initiatives for employees.
In her 2014 S.H.E. Summit keynote, best-selling author and global wellbeing speaker, Agapi Stassinopoulos teaches us that every human has 36.2 trillion cells in our bodies that function despite our mental thoughts, worries and feelings. That means you have the same number of cells as Oprah, Tim Cook to Beyoncé! So the next time you experience negative feelings or worry, think about the human make-up and power inside of you and lead from that place of abundance and ability.
